Abstract
In this paper, we study the heat transfer by Natural convection in a saturated porous medium including viscous dissipation in a vertical conical annular porous medium. Finite Element Method (FEM) has been used to solve the governing partial differential equations. Results are presented in terms of average Nusselt number ( ), streamlines and isothermal lines for various values of Rayleigh number (Ra), Cone angle (CA), Radius ratio (Rr) and Viscous dissipation(#x3B5;).
