Abstract

Rising global competition and the increasing costs of natural resources today as well as customers demands for higher manufactured goods quality, better product selection, and improved customer service have created new challenges for manufacturing industries. Even though research has suggested that supply chain management and supply chain integration are distinct potential, little is known about their performance effects and about the contextual conditions under which they are effective. Based on a literature survey and expert analysis of manufacturing firms, we empirically investigate the effects of supply chain integration on quality performance using Analytical hierarchical Open Decision maker analysis. We argue our study in the dynamic capabilities view and contingency theory.
